In 2021, I interned at Reveal from Center for Investigative Reporting. While there, I helped produce a 3-part series on the disspearane of 43 college students in Iguala, Mexica in 2014. I assisted Senior Reporter Anayansi Diaz-Cortez by logging and indexing tape including hours of audio diary entries from Mexican Special Prosecutor Omar Gomez Trejo. I also helped assemble and mix early cuts of the series’s episodes, as well as, build newsreel montages and audio scenes.
Final project in my Audio Documentary course at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. This audio doc profiles an activist, sex worker in Jackson Heights, Queens.

I also have experience working in events. I worked as a marketing assistant at the Life is Beautiful Festival from 2014-2015. Recently in 2018, I worked as a contractor for the Emerge Impact + Music Conference.

At Emerge I worked as a research assistant for the impact portion of the festival where I pitched and researched candidates for the festival's speaker series. I developed content for Impact showcases including interstitial material, presentations, and videos. I also wrote scripts and background notes for the showcase hosts and assisted with overall event coordination including talent handling and visual assets management.

My primary responsibility was to coordinate between the marketing team and app-development team at Aloompa to design and build the festival app. In addition, I helped schedule meetings and calls with potential sponsors and community partners. I also answered inquiries both through email and social media accounts.
